Manuel Greco — Co-founder

Manuel has a degree in Physics from the University of Rome, Italy, and Finance and Economics from London School of Economics and Imperial College, and almost 20 years of experience in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley.

He has been the chair of the VHL Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to the support and research of hereditary cancer. In his free time he enjoys producing music and writing children’s books.

Nicole Gulotta — Co-founder

Nicole graduated from NYU with a degree in art history, subsequently working for 20+ years as a fashion and wardrobe stylist. In 2009 she founded the heritage textile accessories brand, Nomadic Thread Society, now also a consulting and mentoring platform for small businesses and designers in the sustainable fashion and decor sectors. Her interests have converged in arts activism.

Vandana Jain — Co-founder

Vandana is a professional singer-songwriter, musician and visual artist showcasing her avant-pop project VANDANA around the globe. Vandana graduated from The University Of Arts London with a degree in graphic design and filmmaking and also works as a freelance graphic designer focusing on branding and image making. COLLABORATORS

Ilene Sussman

Ilene has over 20 years of experience leading non-profits. Her career includes being the Executive Director of the Jewish Day School Advocacy Forum. As Executive Director of both the North American Thrombosis Forum and VHL Alliance, she was responsible for transitioning the organizations from “start-ups” to established entities.

Ilene has a PhD in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute in Science and has worked as an academic and biotech scientist. Ilene using her free time expressing herself with fiber arts.

Daniela Pompei

Daniela, Professor of Social Science at the Roma Tre University, is responsible of the Sant’Egidio Community’s services for migrants. Daniela is also the coordinator of the humanitarian corridors project of the Community and a promoter of the movement “Genti di Pace” – whose intent is to bring old and new European citizens closer, with the dream that no one is a foreigner anymore.

Ahmed Bhayat

Ahmed has been living in NYC for 12 years, but he is originally from Mauritius. He made most of his career in finance. Ahmed was involved in fundraising for the VHL Alliance, and feels very deeply about The Artivist Nest’s core values.

Peter Bakke

Peter is a public high school teacher in northern Virginia. He teaches Biology, and he has activated interests in racial, social and environmental justice. Peter appreciates the multilevel focus of The Artivist Nest, which includes awareness, action and community.

Katie Wilson

Katie ran for congress in 2018 for New York’s 21st congressional district. She is a writer, entrepreneur and communications consultant currently living and working out of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York where the natural world provides a backdrop for her most creative endeavors.

Francesca Terenzi

Francesca is a natural catastrophe modeller with a backround in Physics and Applied Mathematics/Physics. She collaborates with The Artivist Nest because she shares an interest on the topics on which they aim to focus on and would like to support them with their mission.

Roberta Mantovani

Roberta is a natural catastrophe modeller with a PhD in Physics. She is a member of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Refugees Welcome Committee, supports Safe Passage in their campaigns, and collaborates with Artivist Nest because she shares the values that motivate all those organisations.
