PROPOSAL
How can we put sound and its healing frequencies to use in treating illness and disease? How best can these alternative yet scientific treatments be promoted and delivered to patients?
Musicians, composers, healers gather to explore and create healing sounds and compositions. Doctors and psychologists participate to share the science of brain function as it relates to sound waves and frequencies. Medical insurance professionals will be invited to participate and experience the evolving “treatments” and speak to the process of seeking and winning approval within insurance system.
PROGRAM IN DEVELOPMENT
10 days off the grid, immersed in nature while benefiting from a sophisticated sound studio with host of analog and digital instruments and equipment. The group will consider sounds in their healing applications, from tuning forks treating muscle injuries to soundscapes easing anxiety and trauma.
